The glitz ✨ vs the grit 🔨

@jamieandbeata had the audience on the edge of their seats with their breathtaking roller-skating adagio. Just 30 minutes earlier, they were on their hands and knees putting the final touches on the very platform they’d soon be spinning across.

This is showbiz, baby. 😂

Three weeks ago, this was nothing more than dust, scaffolding, and an empty piece of land. Today, it stands as a kingdom.

Inspired by the great royal courts of Africa and the Countess’s travels through Morocco, the Sahara and Mali, every wall, garden, pathway and hidden corner was built to tell a story. A world of rich colour, artisan craftsmanship, warmth, hospitality and wonder.

But none of it happens without the people behind it.

From the first palace wall to the final spotlight, hundreds of hands worked tirelessly to transform a dream into reality.

In just 3 weeks, our extraordinary team turned dust into magic.

Joburg, we are so proud to finally open the gates and share this kingdom with you. ✨❤️
