A journey into rhythm, ceremony and revelry.
Melanina draws us back to where stories were shared through music, movement, food and gathering, then pulls us forward into a world imagined as only Zingara can.
Live music spills into the room. Bodies take to the air. Characters emerge from the shadows. The feast becomes part of the performance.
Rich with the spirit of jazz, African diasporic influence and the smoky glamour of another time, Melanina is a celebration of where we come from, and all that becomes possible when we come together.
